Atlanta school board makes stance against Buckhead City official

The Atlanta Board of Education this week formalized its opposition to the proposed Buckhead City.
Board members unanimously but without comment approved their list of legislative priorities for the 2022 session of the Georgia General Assembly.
Among those goals: “Oppose legislation that would allow for the deannexation of the Buckhead community from the city of Atlanta.”
